Mazda to appoint Masahiro Moro as new president and CEO

Mazda Motor Corporation announced on Monday that Masahiro Moro will serve as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Masamichi Kogai.

Mazda reported that Moro, who is currently the Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer of Mazda, will assume the position starting April 1, 2020. Kogai, who has been with the automaker since April 2010, will remain with the company as a Director and Chairman.
