McLaren F1 Team driver Oscar Piastri visits KAUST to highlight partnership promoting STEM pathways in motorsport

McLaren F1 Team driver Oscar Piastri recently visited the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia to showcase the partnership between the renowned Formula 1 outfit and the university, aimed at promoting STEM pathways in motorsport.

Piastri, who is the reigning FIA Formula 3 champion, was invited to the university to highlight the collaboration and to meet with students, faculty and staff. The visit was part of KAUST’s efforts to introduce motorsport to its students and to promote the development of the field in the region.

During his visit, Piastri met with KAUST’s Motorsport Club, which has been established to promote the field and to allow students to get involved in motorsport activities. The club is supported by McLaren F1, which provides expertise and technical advice to the students.
