“McLaren is the inspiration for Aston Martin”

“McLaren is the inspiration for Aston Martin”

McLaren started the season at the bottom of the table before climbing up the standings with a series of improvements.

McLaren’s form contrasts with Aston Martin, who started the season strongly and slipped down the standings in recent races.

Alonso has scored six podiums in the first eight races, but Aston Martin has struggled to compete for top spots recently.

McLaren, on the other hand, started in the top three in a row and recently scored a double podium at the Japanese Grand Prix. The team is currently only 49 points behind Aston in the championship.

While Aston Martin wants to get off to a good start next season, Alonso says McLaren can learn a lesson from this year’s success.

Asked if he is approaching a difficult weekend differently from others, Alonso said: “There’s really a lot to do with the car and the set-up, we need to try some things.”

“It is also very important for next year to take care of the tires and prioritize qualifying and the race.”

“So there’s a lot going on behind the scenes on a tough weekend.”

“We’re taking notes, we’re learning everything and looking at what our rivals are doing – especially McLaren.”

“We definitely need to look at the big strides they made throughout the season. It’s an inspiration for next year.”
