Meet The New Member of the 25 Weather Team!

The 25 Weather Team has expanded its ranks with the addition of a new meteorologist. As the region’s most trusted source for weather news and forecasts, the 25 Weather Team is proud to welcome meteorologist Dr. Sarah Green to its distinguished staff.

Dr. Green brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in atmospheric science and climatology. A native of the area, she received a master’s degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Maryland and a doctorate in Meteorology from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the 25 Weather Team, Dr. Green held several positions at research institutions and the National Weather Service.

Dr. Green is passionate about communicating the science of weather and climate to the public, and has been involved in several educational outreach initiatives. She is an advocate for the importance of understanding climate change and its potential impacts and is looking forward to helping educate the public about the critical importance of preparing for extreme weather events.

With her fresh perspective and advanced scientific knowledge, Dr. Green is poised to make a positive contribution to the 25 Weather Team and the region as a whole. She will be a valuable asset to the team, and we look forward to seeing the impact she will make in the future.
