Henk Scholten swims against the current to become a Volvo dealer in Culemborg again

Henk Scholten will again be the official Volvo dealer in Culemborg from August 1. The company is thus fulfilling the remaining growth ambition after closing a branch as a Volvo dealer two years ago. Along with the expansion, the Volvo dealer is swimming against the current, at a time when the importer is reducing the number of branches.

Two years ago, the Volvo dealership in Culemborg was closed and the location continued as EV specialist Henk Scholten Mobility, including a solar panel installation company and charging stations. Over the past two years, Culemborg has been transformed into a specialist in electric and hybrid mobility. More Volvo commercial vehicles, which the company received at its branches in Tiel, Ede, Nijmegen and Arnhem, were also sold. In addition, Henk Scholten Mobility was founded, a new company specializing in the installation of solar panels and charging stations.

It has been changed

Today Henk Scholten announces that the Culemborg branch will become a Volvo dealer again, reversing the decision made two years ago. As of August 1, Culemborg can officially call itself a Volvo dealer again.

Ahead of the opening, Henk Scholten is investing heavily in the improvement of the showroom and workshops, the company said. Cooperation with rental companies has also been reaffirmed and rental cars are once again welcome in Culemborg for repairs, maintenance and MOT.

Emergency maintenance

During the repair, which starts on May 27, the workshop will remain open for emergency maintenance and Culemborg employees will work temporarily in Tiel. For customers who find it difficult to travel to Tiel, a pick-up and delivery service is available from the Culemborg branch.

Existing services in the field of charging solutions and solar panels have not changed under Henk Scholten Mobility, while the company is also focusing on new innovative solutions, such as home batteries, to meet the growing demand for electricity and sustainability.
