Mercedes EQS facelift (2024): new grille and more freedom

We only expected it at the Beijing Auto Show, but the facelifted Mercedes EQS is already showing off its new look! The German brand’s electric range now gets a redesigned false grille, with chrome elements referencing the designs of Mercedes’ combustion engines. And on the tip of his hat, a small upright star returns again.

82 km of additional freedom for a maximum of 822 km!

The biggest novelty of this facelift, however, is the extra 82 kilometers that Mercedes has given to the EQS, which gets a new battery with a capacity of 118 kWh instead of 108.4 kWh. The result is that the German luxury electric sedan now has up to 822 km of autonomy as the EQS 450+, the version with the longest driving range.

More comfort in the back

In addition to increased endurance, Mercedes EQS has also worked on its comfort, especially that of rear seat passengers. From now on, they will enjoy more comfortable and independent seats. If you’re sitting right back, you’ll be more comfortable thanks to the new legroom!

Best standard equipment, same price

Mercedes is also using a facelift for its top electric model to improve the standard equipment. Now you always receive Hyperscreen and heat pump from the factory. But although we are already seeing a facelift for the EQS, you can only order a model from the opening of the Beijing Motor Show, which opens its doors on April 25. The good news is that the prices remain the same as those of the current versions, with a starting price of 111,320 euros for Mercedes EQS 2024.
