Monk. The MINI John Cooper Works performance-enhanced models take the go-kart feel concept to the next level and have become the marque’s flagship racing cars. MINI John Cooper Works Edition 1to6 (combined fuel consumption: 7.1 – 6.8 l/100 km; CO emissions2 combined: 162 – 156 g/km according to WLTP), exclusive to 999 units worldwide, underlines the driving performance of the car in a real way.

The 6-speed manual gearbox makes the MINI John Cooper Works a special high-performance model. Along with standard stainless steel pedals, the manual gearbox emphasizes the high-performance driving characteristics and exciting racing feel of the MINI John Cooper Works. Focusing on this authentic and unfiltered driving experience with a 6-speed manual gearbox gives the 1to6 Edition its name.
A limited edition with racing purist design details.
Even from the outside, the MINI John Cooper Works in the 1to6 Edition is characterized by a unique style and excellent performance. The front end features a radiator grille with large ventilation for engine and brake temperature control and Piano Black detailing. Along with the sleek Midnight Black body color, the sleek black design details give the car a purposeful look. Characteristic side scuttles and waistline are also done in Piano Black.
From the bonnet to the rear spoiler and rear bumper, the special edition Bonnet Stripe with special graphics emphasizes MINI’s sporting history. The MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition embodies the car’s unbridled desire for freedom, both on the racetrack and in everyday life. The silver, white and red Edition logo emphasizes the car’s minimalist character, with matching badges on the C-pillar and rear of the car, as well as being mounted on the Side Scuttles. 18-inch Circuit Spoke wheels in Jet Black complete the unique look of this version.
Edge plates with the 1to6 edition-specific logo emphasize the unique character of the interior as soon as the car doors are opened. A 3D-shaped decorative strip on the passenger side takes on the edition logo in a beautiful tone-on-tone design, while the black “One of 999” lettering on the left side of the steering wheel refers to MINI John Cooper’s lowercase. Works Version 1to6. The gearbox is located in the center of the cockpit and features the colors of the Edition logo with a red background pattern and red leather stitching.
The standard MINI central instrument cluster takes the form with a red bezel and, together with the red ambient lighting, creates a contrast with the anthracite colored roof lining. The center spoke about the sports steering wheel in nappa leather and the floor mats once again bear the MINI John Cooper Works Edition 1to6 badge. The edition is completed by a key cover with the 1to6 logo.
World premiere at the Nürburgring 24 hour race.
The sporty look, deep engine sound and twinpower four-cylinder turbo are just some of the sports-inspired details of the MINI John Cooper Works. They prove that it’s all about sporty driving and high precision. The sports suspension of the model was tested on various circuits, including, of course, the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring. The MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition also represents the legendary go-kart feel and excellent handling and carries on the history of racing legend John Cooper and his impressive driving characteristics.
Against this background, the world premiere of the limited edition model will take place at the Nürburgring 24-hour race on May 20, 2023. During Saturday’s race, the MINI John Cooper Works in Edition 1to6, specially modified for this event , together with the Bulldog Racing Team’s MINI John Cooper Works, will add a new piece to MINI’s history, tradition, in motorsport.
From September 2023, the exclusive MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition model will be available in Europe, USA, Canada and Mexico.
