2025 Acura MDX Revealed With Added Style And New Technology

Acura has unveiled the 2025 MDX SUV with a number of upgrades and enhancements, including updated styling, a new user interface, upgraded audio systems for all trims, and more safety features. The midsize luxury crossover has served as Acura’s flagship since the RLX’s demise, and these new updates aim to cement that status.

Fashion Updates

All MDX variants get a sharper look for the 2025 model year, with a new open-frame Diamond Pentagon grille with redesigned vents dominating the front face. The side lights and fog lights have also been massaged, while the headlights and taillights have been lightly tinted. Buyers who choose the MDX A-Spec get the same front fascia from the MDX Type S, and a frameless grille with redesigned vents. This model also gets black accents, A-Spec badges, and redesigned 20-inch wheels. Speaking of which, MDX models with the Technology Package and Advance Package also get new 20-inch wheel options, but Acura hasn’t revealed these.

The S-Type is not left out and gets what Acura calls “open-surface mesh” in its new grille, redesigned Berlina Black 21-inch wheels with a finish, and its standard rear diffuser, quad exhaust tips and red Brembo. brake calipers.

New colors for the MDX are Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl, the latter of which debuted on the 2024 Acura TLX.

Pricing for the 2025 Acura MDX and MDX Type S has yet to be announced, but both SUVs will begin arriving at dealerships in May.
