The Japanese manufacturer shows the first details about its future Infiniti QX80, a large high-end SUV that has already been announced with the first images and teaser videos.

Preceded by the Infiniti QX Monograph concept car at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the new Infiniti QX80 will be revealed on March 20, 2024. Before the launch, Infiniti is giving us a taste of its new large SUV with a series of teasers, in pictures and videos.

The exterior design is still hidden

Infiniti collaborated with digital artist Kaoru Tanaka to create a to hide bearing systems that cleverly hide the exterior design of this third generation QX80. A self-taught artist based in Osaka, Japan, Tanaka was inspired for this creation by the concepts of art, technology and movement, and a digital masterpiece representing the movement and shapes of human DNA.
“Before a new model is revealed, it is usually hidden behind a disguise intended to hide them”announced at this event Alfonso Albaisa, Senior Vice President of Design at Infiniti: “But we think the all-new QX80 is too amazing to be completely hidden.”
Under the hood, the third opus of the Infiniti QX80 will be powered by a V6 engine The 3.5 liter Nissan VR35DDTT, which develops a little something of Horse power 450 and 700 Nm of torque, an increase of 50 horses and 140 Nm compared to the current generation, while improving performance and reducing fuel consumption. Infiniti QX80: innovative sound system inside

Inside the new QX80, Infiniti promises a cabin “quiet and refined experience”. The model will be equipped with a electronic air suspension and dynamic digital suspension technology, which will adapt the vehicle’s behavior to the driving conditions, while contributing to comfort by reducing body movements. The air suspension automatically lowers when the vehicle is parked to facilitate on-board access as well as loading.
We will also get on board three rows of seatswith many comfort features: massaging seats for the first and second rows activated by a touch screen, heated seats in all rows, not to mention the “biometric” climate system in the second row.
The Infiniti QX80 can also be equipped with optional equipment Klipsch Reference Premiere sound systemby virtue of 1.200 W and including 24 speakers, including four High Line speakers and titanium tweeters. Speakers integrated into the headrests will play music only for the front passenger, allowing other occupants to relax.
