The Mitsubishi ASX is the focus of the Japanese brand’s spring campaign in Germany. Customers can now buy a small SUV at a discounted price.

The 4,228 mm long ASX is available as a petrol engine, a mild hybrid, a full hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. The basic version of the petrol engine is now available for 19,990 euros – thanks to a discount of 4,700 euros, which is valid until March 31, 2024. For all other ASX equipment lines there is a discount of 2,000 to 4,500 euros until June 30, 2024, depending on the equipment selected.

The full ASX hybrid, which normally costs at least 28,990 euros, is 2,500 euros cheaper as part of the offer. Among other things, a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 69 kW (94 hp) and a 36 kW (49 hp) electric motor for a system output of 105 kW (143 hp) are available. This means you can reach 100 kilometers per hour in 9.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 170 km / h possible.

As a plug-in hybrid, the ASX costs from 34,890 euros regularly. Through the Mitsubishi campaign, customers receive a discount of 4,500 euros. With a plug-in hybrid drive, the ASX combines a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 68 kW (92 hp) and an electric motor with 49 kW (67 hp) for a system output of 117 kW (159 hp). 48 kilometers can be driven purely on electricity. It goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.1 seconds and continues up to 170 km / h.

Inside, according to Mitsubishi, the ASX scores points with the SUV’s highest seating position, generous space and flexible solutions such as a sliding rear seat. Depending on the position, it provides more legroom in the back or more volume in the trunk. So you end up holding 332 or 401 liters, depending on your needs.

Depending on the equipment line, the driver looks at an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch screen, a configurable digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch screen or a 10.25-inch digital driver display, which also commands from 3D. the navigation system is displayed.

Located in the center of the dashboard is the “Smartphone Link Display” (SDA) with a 7-inch screen in landscape format or a 9.3-inch portrait format display including wireless smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The SDA is not only used as a control center for the infotainment system, but also allows the control of the “Multi-Sense system”, which the driver can adjust the driving behavior, chassis control and traction.

The Japanese are also emphasizing safety with the new ASX. A collision warning system with emergency brake assist including pedestrian and cyclist detection, active lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition are standard on all models.

As with all the brand’s models, the ASX comes with a 5-year factory warranty (up to 100,000 km), which can be extended by a further three years. Models with plug-in hybrid and full hybrid drive also receive an 8-year warranty on the drive battery (up to 160,000 km).
