Mitsubishi Motors’ ‘Drive your ambition’ charge fits well with the Dutch short track skiers who have won one international medal in recent years. But despite all those respectable places at the European Championships, the World Cup, the World Cup and the Olympic Games, TeamNL’s Short Track remains ambitious and sets new goals.

The team of the national coach Niels Kerstholt has surrounded the Winter Games of Milan 2026 with red color in the agenda. But for now, the focus is on the upcoming World Championships, from 15 to 17 March 2024 in Ahoy, Rotterdam. Many people can still remember the concert in 2017, with the sold-out venue, the spectacular show and the excellent performance of TeamNL’s Short Track. Here too, Mitsubishi Motors will present itself as TeamNL’s Short Track Mobility Partner.

On the way to the World Championships, but especially on the way to and from the daily practice sessions, the comfortable cars from Mitsubishi Motors are a welcome addition to TeamNL’s Short Track equipment. Drivers and employees can choose one of Mitsubishi Motors’ models, such as the Space Star, ASX, Eclipse Cross PHEV or the new Colt that will be launched next month.

In the coming years, Mitsubishi Motors will appear at national short track events and through stickers on cars. Various online activations of the car brand will also appear on Schaaten.nl and the Instagram page of TeamNL Shorttrack. Furthermore, the KNSB association will also gradually switch to vehicles from Mitsubishi Motors in the coming years.

Jeroen Kraaij, commercial director of KNSB, is excited about the new partnership: “The ambitions of TeamNL Shorttrack and Mitsubishi Motors match well and securing a mobility partner was high on our priority list. This is based on the scope of TeamNL Short Track activation. With the support of our partners Daikin, ODIDO, Dutch Lottery, Holland & Barrett and Fila, we are doing everything we can to remove the burden and enable TeamNL. With Mitsubishi Motors as Mobility Partner, this picture is now complete.

Roland van Banning, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors Netherlands: “This sustainable partnership is fully in line with our brand promise ‘Pursue your Ambition’ and underlines our ambitions for the coming years, which we have further emphasized with the recent introduction of an 8-year warranty. . As a mobility partner, we are pleased to contribute with our network to the further expansion of TeamNL’s Short Track sports success.
