“The race was very tight from start to finish, but we came out on top of the pack thanks to what can be described as a team effort. Yuki drove fantastically and managed his tires well in the stages of the race when needed, but also he showed good pace when necessary to maintain the lead. The pit wall adjusted the strategy very well after the restart and the pit crew produced an incredible second stop under pressure, giving Yuki the back seat in a very tight battle with Stroll, Bottas, Hulkenburg and Magnussen.”

“Unfortunately Daniel’s race didn’t work out as his first lap incident took him out of the race. But even without his dry session on Friday, he set a tough qualifying standard and we’re confident we can build on this. The events to come.
