Moraes Sisters Among the Most Decorated in Ohio State Synchro History – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Moraes sisters have established themselves as two of the most decorated members of the Ohio State Buckeyes synchronised swimming program. Sisters Lauren and Kim have achieved a tremendous level of success in their tenure, having earned a combined total of five All-American selections, two Big Ten Championships, and two Big Ten Freshman of the Year honours.

Lauren, the elder of the two sisters, has been an integral part of the Buckeyes roster since arriving in Columbus in 2012. She has been an All-American selection four times, has been the Big Ten Champion twice, and was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2012. In addition to her achievements in the pool, she was named an Academic All-American in 2018.

Kim, the younger of the sisters, has been equally as impressive in her time at Ohio State. She was named an All-American selection in 2016, was the Big Ten Champion in 2017, and was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2015. Much like her sister, Kim was also named an Academic All-American in 2018.

The Moraes sisters have been an integral part of the Ohio State synchronised swimming program, and their accomplishments are among the most distinguished in Buckeyes history. They have combined for five All-American selections, two Big Ten Championships, and two Big Ten Freshman of the Year awards, establishing themselves as two of the most decorated Buckeyes in the program’s history.
