The latest version of the Polestar 2 is scheduled to be released between the third quarter of 2023 and early 2024. A comprehensive update that should revise the design of the car with a new nose, a new electric motor and more standard equipment. With the two-engine version, Polestar launches rear-wheel drive for more thrills. Power has vitaminized a little, from 300 kW and 660 Nm initially to 310 kW and 740 Nm. This model can reach 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 s. With the performance pack, the driver will have 350 kW, enough to gain a tenth of a second during acceleration.

The long-range versions will now have an 82 kWh battery produced by CATL with 27 modules. The regular version will keep a 69 kWh accumulator with 24 modules, produced this time by LG Chem. The updated Polestar 2 batteries, with more efficient internal chemistry, should further improve charging times. With more powerful motors (Polestar 2 with two motors and performance pack), the electric power will be further improved, also making it possible to get freedom.
The Long Range Dual car version will increase from 487 to 592 km of autonomy (more than 105 km) and the standard one from 478 to 518 km (more than 40 km). Finally, the standard single-engine version with a reinforced battery can run up to 635 km (plus 84 km), according to the manufacturer.
The Polestar 2 will also have additional standard equipment. “Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Steering Assist, Cross Traffic Alert and Brake Assist, Rear Collision Warning and Mitigation, with 360° Rotating Camera, side mirrors with automatic exterior lighting “ and a wireless phone charger will be installed in the car by default.
The new range called “2024” is available from 50,190 euros.
