Dacia Spring prices in Germany from 16,900 euros. So we went back a bit from the time of the first show

The cheapest version of the Dacia Spring costs EUR 16,900 in Germany. The most expensive one is available for EUR 19,900. The first price corresponds to PLN 74,900 in Poland, meanwhile, when the car started on the market in 2021, it cost about EUR 16,990 or PLN 76,900. So it seems that the Renault Group will keep its word and the new Dacia Spring will be the cheapest electric car (in Europe).

Is Dacia Spring the cheapest electric car on the market?

The Polish prices of the car will be revealed “in April” and it can be assumed that this will happen any day now, since in Germany it will be possible to place orders for Dacia Spring in a week and a half, from April. 16.

The cost-effective variant of the model, which has a cost from 16,900 euros, is Dacia Spring Electric 45 Important, namely a version with a 33 kW/45 HP engine and a 26.8 kWh battery based on cells supplied by the Chinese company Sunwoda. In this version, we cannot change the engine to a more powerful version, 48 kW/65 HP, this is only optional on the line. Express yourself costing from EUR 17,900 with standard equipment and, among others: air conditioning or Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

For a change, in a more expensive version Extreme (EUR 19,900; PLN 86,800?) we will not get a weak engine.

The declared WLTP range of the Dacia Spring Electric is “up to 220 units” WLTP, a maximum of 188 km in real conditions in mixed conditions (editor’s calculations). The results are very good if we consider the capacity of the car battery. The facelift refreshed the car visually both inside and out, and also added energy recovery technology (V2L, Extreme only).

Dacia Spring is an A-segment model and has no competition in Europe. Renault Twingo ZE is available only in a small number of countries, Fiat positions the 500e as a high-end model (it costs from PLN 130,900), other manufacturers are not interested in fighting for the smallest part of the electric city. Spring is lucky to be made in China, where the cars are more popular.
