On Tuesday, North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) officials identified the deceased from a fatal crash in northeast North Dakota.
The NDHP reported that the crash occurred on a rural road in Walsh County. The NDHP said that the vehicle, a pickup truck, was traveling south when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the pickup, a 42-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a 38-year-old male, was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
The NDHP released the name of the deceased driver on Tuesday. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
