Nascar, Kimi Raikkonen returns to the Austin race! “Ice Man” will be behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Camaro

Ferrari’s last Formula One world champion, who withdrew from the top international racing series at the end of 2021, therefore decided to make a second attempt at NASCAR after participating in the Watkins Glen event last year.

Finn will again be behind the wheel of one Chevrolet Camaro (number 91) with the Trackhouse Racing team, but this time on the track he knows very well.

“I had a great time at NASCAR. There was a lot to learn in a short time, but everyone was very open and the competition was a great challenge. This time I will be running on a track I know well, so the learning curve won’t be as steep. I want to have fun, but also do my best.” announces Raikkonen.

“I’m sure there are many drivers who would like to have a chance to try NASCAR. It’s not that easy, but maybe the doors will open in the future to have more chances to try to get more Europeans in the sport.“, adds the 43-year-old Finn.
