The NASCAR Xfinity Series Raptor King of Tough 250 saw a hard-fought battle between seasoned veterans and up-and-coming racers, with the final results showcasing a triumphant performance by the celebrated racer, Kevin Harvick.
In the closing laps of the race, Harvick held off a determined charge by the second-place finisher, Christopher Bell, to take the checkered flag in the 250-mile event. This marks Harvick’s first victory of the season and his third consecutive win at the famed Daytona International Speedway.
The race featured a tight battle between the top-five drivers, with Harvick and Bell swapping the lead multiple times. On the final lap, Bell attempted to make a move on the inside, but Harvick managed to stay in front and secure the win.
Behind Harvick and Bell, Tyler Reddick finished third, followed by Justin Haley and Chase Briscoe in fourth and fifth, respectively. Michael Annett, Ryan Sieg, Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson and Ryan Reed rounded out the top-10 finishers.
The win was a welcome one for Harvick, who has been struggling to find consistency this season. With the victory, Harvick now sits in third place in the Xfinity Series standings, narrowly trailing Bell and Briscoe.
The next race in the Xfinity Series will take place on April 18 at Richmond Raceway.
