A few more weeks to wait for the all-new BMW X3

BMW will soon launch the all-new X3, which will be the fourth generation of the still very popular SUV. The German manufacturer hasn’t said much about it yet, but it has already piqued our curiosity with a series of photos of an as-yet undisclosed test model.

The first X3, launched in 2003, was also one of the first ‘sporty’ SUVs in its segment, a car that BMW was able to make Audi and Mercedes very jealous of. The X3 at the time was positioned as a simpler and hipper alternative to the sedan as well as belonging to the 3-Series. The success of what they called the Sports Activity Vehicle in Munich certainly exceeded the manufacturer’s wildest expectations. Today, of course, we can no longer imagine the world (car) without those types of cars.

Also the electric X3?

The current model, which is also available as an iX3 with an all-electric drive, has been around since 2017, so it makes sense that a successor will be launched this year. The Germans say they are currently doing final test work, which of course means the launch will be ‘soon’. In a few weeks, we think. The car will be launched with a variety of powertrains, including mild hybrid petrol engines, plug-in hybrid and diesel variants. It remains to be seen if the electric X3 won’t be a ‘different’ model this time with perhaps a different name. Meanwhile, BMW is already working on its Neue Klasse family.A few more weeks to wait for the all-new BMW X3

Direct parking

What should we know about the new X3? So not much at this point. It comes with a good drag coefficient of 0.27 and will offer more driving dynamics and comfort than the outgoing model thanks to a more rigid structure, wider track and more direct steering. The degree of autonomous driving is increased by using Active Lane Change Assist which allows for automatic lane changes. With Parking and Driving Assistant you will also be able to park the car by phone and remotely. Bring it.A few more weeks to wait for the all-new BMW X3
