Clear the stage with the new Alfa Romeo Milano

DThe new Alfa Romeo Milano celebrates its world premiere in Milan. The 4.17 meter long compact SUV is Alfa’s fourth model and the brand’s first to be fully electric. The design of the chic city crossover is not only intended to make Alfisti’s hearts beat faster.

Alfa Milano Elettrica shares technology with its battery electric siblings such as the Fiat 600e or the Jeep Avenger. This means: the 156 hp electric motor drives the front wheels, the 54 kWh battery should enable an electric range of up to 410 km according to WLTP and a power consumption of 15.0 to 15.6 kWh per 100 km.

And the Milano Elletrica Veloce, the second variant, 240 hp and sports suspension with a lowering of 25 millimeters will follow later. When it launches in late summer, the Alfa Romeo Milano will also be available as a Hybrid with a 136 hp 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine and a 48-volt hybrid system.

A hybrid version with all-wheel drive will also be available by the end of the year. There is no exact price yet, the starting price for the Milano hybrid is said to be under 30,000 euros and that of the full electric model under 40,000 euros. Alfa promises a sporty driving style for the Milano. The engineering team involved also developed the chassis of the Alfa Romeo 4C sports car.
