Dr. 1 Ev 2023 is zero city car of which the first information was leaked during a video broadcast on social networks by the car manufacturer. These are the first indications that the DR 1 EV shares many features with the Chinese Chery eQ1 sold by Chinese brand Chery Automobile, a partner of Massimo Di Risio’s company.

Chery eQ1 then is acar for the city with a height of 3.2 meters and aluminum shell and composite materials for light weight. Despite its size, the cabin has four seats, even if the two rear seats are narrow. The car is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 40PS and 120Nm of torque with an electronically limited top speed of 100km/h.

The engine is driven by a 38kWh lithium-ion battery which promises a range of 301 km according to the NEDC measurement cycle. Recharging takes 5 to 7 hours with a 6.6 kW AC charger, or just 30 to 50 minutes with a DC fast charger to get a charge from 30% to 80%.

Dr. 5.0 instead it has a sportier design than the 4.0 version, with sharper bumpers, LED lights, different rims and a more modern dashboard. The screen has been improved and is now 12.3 inches (up from 9 inches in the 4.0) and also includes Android Auto functionality.
