Although it was very small, it aroused great interest. A small car can carry up to 10 people inside, as well as a large amount of, for example, bags of potatoes. How and why? Because for many drivers it was the only means of transport available during the times of the Polish People’s Republic.
Fiacik – as it was affectionately called Fiat 126p – at first it was something to sigh, and after years also mockery, when more and more other cars began to appear on the market. However, the baby has found a solid place among Polish car fans.
We can still buy a Fiat for 126palthough on the secondary market. Price? They range from a few thousand zlotys for working copies, to about 20,000.
The little guy returns after years of absence from the hot market, this time in an… electric version. Italian company Ma-De Studio from Como near Milanwhich he directs Andrea Della Vecchia.
Vision 126 is a very modern car, which in its appearance implies a characteristic silhouette of a young child. Among other things, there have been square headlights, a sloping rear and a sliding roof. There are also seats for the driver and three passengers.
Baby 2.0, as the project can be boldly called, has “lost” the engine and is an electric car. And where in the faithful cough there was a driving unit, today we have room (although it is a very strong word for such a small car) for luggage.
How much will the Fiat 126 Vision cost? Will there be other body versions of the Italian electric car? For these questions – until now – we will not know the answers.
