New Lexus GX 2024: Delivery Overview

New Lexus GX 2024 appeared last week in the first official teaser.
The Lexus GX midsize SUV was first unveiled at the 2002 Detroit International Auto Show as a premium version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The second generation of the SUV started in late 2009, and the GX has received several popular upgrades, most recently in 2019, where the SUV is still available. It is one of the longest-running cars on the market, but it will soon be replaced by an entirely new model.
The first comics of the novel were published a few days ago, showing the front pieces and headlights. The new Lexus GX will have a design more angular, its headlights will be made in the style of the old LX SUV, but their shape will be original thanks to the appearance of LED “fangs”.

These renderings from Kolesa.ru allow us to see the final design of the car. A large hood with a break in the middle attracts attention, and its division will be completely horizontal, going through the notches on the sides. The wheel arches will be very square with special plastic covers. There is not much information about that part behindthe only clear thing is that the lights will be a single element with a thin LED strip running the width of the boot lid, as in other new models of the brand.

TECHNICAL DATA

According to preliminary data, the new Lexus GX will keep the frame structure and share platform and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and the latest generation Lexus LX. We can expect the appearance of 6-cylinder turbo engines, similar to those of previous models, and hybrid modifications. The current Lexus GX has only one engine, the V8 4.6 naturally aspirated petrol, mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Lexus is preparing another novel – a large crossover with three rows of seats. The new Lexus TX is based on the Toyota Grand Highlander.
