The DS 7 Crossback is the French premium brand’s best-selling model. In 2019 alone, almost 28,000 copies of this successful SUV were purchased on the European market. It is known for, among others: very modern design and high-quality materials used to finish the interior. Four years have passed since its debut in 2017, so the car will get a facelift.

What changes await DS Automobiles’ best-selling model? The front design will be more in line with the current DS line, especially with the highly successful DS 4 model. The front will be stripped of some of the chrome accessories and will feature a light signature, as seen in the rendering below.

What changes in? Perhaps we will see new digital panels and a new, expanded version of the multimedia system. There will be new equipment and perhaps a center console with a touch panel familiar from DS 4. There will also be a new variant of the hybrid car with 360 HP power. Currently, the DS 7 version includes engines from 130 HP (blueHDi diesel) to 300 HP (hybrid and four-wheel drive). The price of the diesel version starts from PLN 175,900 total. The 300-horsepower E-tense hybrid in the Louvre limited edition costs at least PLN 286,800 in total.

The black DS 7 Crossback with a 180 HP petrol engine and automatic transmission has been driving in our editorial office for several months. We bought it at the showroom DS store in Krakow. There are already more than 15,000 kilometers on the odometer. The SUV offers a very comfortable interior, comfortable suspension and unique rich equipment, which in our example includes, among others: fine leather trim, active cruise control including parking, a setting system way and an opening sunroof. The current average fuel consumption is 9.1 liters per 100 km.

They are very quiet and comfortable, while ensuring confident driving and breaking both on dry and wet roads. The manufacturer promises that it is resistant to wear and should last a long time – we check this in various conditions. We dropped them off at the DS service center on Aleja Krakowska in Warsaw.
