New motorcycle registration March 2024: BMW R 1300 GS ahead

Honda, Kawasaki, KTM and Yamaha in the top 5

Well-known names are in the 2nd to 5th positions of motorcycle manufacturers: Honda (5,257 new registrations in Germany from January to March 2024), Kawasaki (3,784), KTM (3,522) and Yamaha (2,393). It’s clear to see: Although Yamaha has to improve significantly to catch up with the smaller global manufacturer KTM, KTM is already trying to push Kawasaki from third place.

The list of the 20 best motorcycles in March 2024 basically reads like any other month. In front is the big GS, followed by the two Kawa Z 900 and Z 650. This year’s special feature: BMW R 1250 GS as discontinued model or current event variant dropped to 4th place Also of note: KTM 1290 Super Duke R, also a discontinued model, it was in the top 10 for the first three months of the year and with a commercial registration of 6.9 percent out of 579 units, it is a real motorcycle for real owners.
