Firefighters from Rescue and Fire Fighting Unit No. 2 of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz received a major rescue with a Renault Trucks K440 P6X6 MEDIUM E6 fire truck. The new vehicle has been commissioned in the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Professional Fire Service in Bydgoszcz.

A reinforced, three-axle chassis with a wheel drive (6 × 6) was used for the installation of the car. The crew has seats in the standard (short) two-door, three-person cabin in the arrangement (1 + 1 + 1). At the front, the cabin is characterized by a three-piece bumper with metal corners. An electric cable winch with a gravity of 9979 kg and a rope length of 28 meters is also installed there – we read at KM PSP in Bydgoszcz.

The skeleton of the hot body is an independent structure made of welded aluminum profiles. The inside of the body is made of anodized paper, and the outside is of varnished aluminum sheet. Sheathing sheets are connected to the frame in gluing and riveting technology. The body has five compartments – two on each side of the car and one in the back. The boxes are closed with aluminum shutters.

The vehicle was equipped with 10,120-litre composite water tanks and 1,085-litre foam accumulator. The water tank can be fed through two nozzles of 75 mm and 110 mm of the hydrant. In the back of the fire extinguisher body in the pumping room and equipment there is a fire engine pump with a capacity of 5591 l / min at a pressure of 8 bar or 429 l / min at a pressure of 40 bar. It has four nozzles of 75 mm and two of 110 mm as well as three nozzles of 110 mm.

On the usable roof there is a water foam cannon with adjustable capacity from 800 to 3200 l / min and a throwing range of 60 m. The car also has a 6 m high pneumatic light with LED lights and a flux of total light. 36,000 lm.
