Will Dacia introduce a 7-year warranty program for new cars in Poland?

Dacia Zen is a program in which new cars available in the showroom receive a 7-year warranty. It is purchased as part of packages, as described in detail we wrote here. The long-term warranty is currently available on a trial basis in France, but will it appear in Poland?

We asked the importer’s representatives about the warranty issue. The answer was evasive, but informally we learned that if the test results in France are positive, the program will also be launched in other countries. What does a positive result mean? Dacia defines its success indicators as sales growth and the increase of its high customer loyalty. It is also a way to increase the interest of Dacia car buyers in maintaining inspections at authorized services – which supports the development of dealers.

Where did the idea of establishing a 7-year warranty come from? The representatives of the manufacturer say in informal talks that they want to achieve at least two goals in this way: on the one hand, to emphasize the reliability of their cars and, on the other hand, to have a vehicle that stands out from the competition. In our humble opinion, this is also a way to respond to emerging offers from Chinese manufacturers

Regardless of the intention to do so, the seven-year warranty is very good news for all Dacia buyers and we hope that this program will appear in Poland as soon as possible. And until this happens, you can benefit from protection extended to five years, which is also worth remembering.
