The new Nissan Qashqai: technical and aesthetic improvements

Eventually, a third Gigafactory will be built to achieve the full production capacity required to run the assemblies in Sunderland.

From now until 2030, the plan gives a big boost to the distribution of electricity in the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania), reaching 300k cars sold, Europe reaching 40% of the sales of electric cars and launch of 5 new BEVs as well as 6 new vehicles with ICE engines.

Also falling within the scope of safety (at least to prevent minor damage to the bodywork) is the possibility of recognizing the position of the car during maneuvers, which in the case of Nissan is ensured by the Around View Monitor (AWM), which reproduces. the central display shows a 360° top view of the car.

A 3D function has been implemented in the system, which allows you to individually choose one of the eight views (front, back, two sides and four corners of the car) to identify any invisible obstacles in more detail.

In addition, AWM works in conjunction with the system to detect and sound the objects moving around the vehicle.

AWM includes the known Hood’s view of the invisiblewhich allows the driver to see the position of the front wheels and proceed with more precise driving without endangering, for example, rims or tires on pavement curbs.

The column TFT screen behind the steering wheel has also been improved, which now changes color depending on the driving modes:

The power of the New Nissan Qashqai remains unchanged
