Preparation measure

Nicopatch 7 mg / 24 h, -14 mg / 24 h, -21 mg / 24 h is in the form of patches. They should be used for dry skin, intact and hair of the shoulder blade, arms, hips, etc. It is recommended to change the site of application. Patches are used individually, depending on the level of addiction and the severity of withdrawal symptoms.


  1. Adults. initially, usually a patch of 21 mg / 24 h or 14 mg / 24 h for 3-4 weeks,

  2. then gradually reduce the dose to 14 mg / 24 h and 7 mg / 24 h, depending on the results of treatment.

  3. Usually the preparation is used for a period of 3 months, max 6 months. Smoking should be completely stopped during the treatment.

  1. hypersensitivity to any part of the preparation,

  2. use of preparations for non-smokers or occasional smokers.

  1. Without medical recommendations, the preparation should not be used in young people under the age of 18.

  2. Before using the preparation, be careful and consult a doctor in the event of recent heart attacks, cerebrovascular events or the presence of cardiovascular diseases (for example, angina, including Prinzmetal’s angina, heart failure, arrhythmias acute, uncontrolled blood pressure, vasoconstriction, severe peripheral vascular disease, cerebral circulation problems). It is recommended that people in this group stop smoking without using nicotine replacement therapy or, if necessary, remain under close medical supervision.

  3. Before using Nicopatch, consult a doctor in case of: stomach or duodenal ulcer; esophagitis; an enlarged thyroid gland; pheochromocytoma of the adrenal gland; moderate or severe liver or kidney problems.

  4. Stop treatment and consult your doctor if severe or long-term skin reactions occur.

  5. Nicotine doses tolerated by adults can endanger the health of young children and even cause their death.

  6. The level of nicotine in used or new patches can be harmful to children.

  7. Keep Nicopatch away from children, so dispose of used patches carefully.

  8. Women who are pregnant or planning to have children should stop smoking without using nicotine replacement therapy. If this test is unsuccessful, consult a doctor before using the preparation during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Your doctor will assess the benefit-risk ratio.

  9. Nicotine should not be taken in any way during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is harmful to the baby and the mother.   2. As a result of quitting nicotine (with or without nicotine replacement therapy), you may need to change the dosage of certain drugs (after quitting smoking, the metabolism may decrease and, therefore, the concentration of other drugs in the blood may increase, such as: caffeine, theophylline, flecainide, clozapine, olanzapine, ropinirole, pentazocine).

  3. Nicotine contained in the preparation can cause an increase in the concentration of cortisol and catecholamines, requiring adjustment of the dose of nifedipine, adrenolytic drugs, insulin, reducing the effects of diuretics, delaying the healing of stomach ulcers under the influence of antihistamines.

The use of Nicopatch 7 mg / 24 h, -14 mg / 24 h, -21 mg / 24 h patches can cause the following side effects:
