The R35 Nissan GT-R is a dream car for many enthusiasts, but that dream seems to be ending quickly. The brand is saying goodbye to the 2025 edition of the GT-R. We show the car in detail.
Nissan has yet to confirm that this is the last generation of the R35. However, in the Japanese magazine Mag-X we read that 1,500 copies of this model will still come off the production line from June. 300 of them are Nismo versions.
2025 Nissan GT-R R35
For now, the car will only be brought to Japan. According to the newspaper, Nissan dealers have been informed that this is the last generation of the R35. The main reason for stopping production is that Nissan cannot get certain parts for the GT-R in the future.
In the Netherlands we no longer have to look forward to the Nissan GT-R R35. The Japanese sports car is too loud for Europe. The car has not been delivered to our continent since 2022.
Too bad, but the GT-R R35 wouldn’t sell much in the Netherlands with its 3.8 liter V6 with two turbos. Thanks to BPM, the price tag will be very high.
Price
In Japan, the cheapest Nissan GT-R R35 costs JPY 14,443,000. If we convert this to euros, this is 89,314.47 euros. The Nismo version costs more than twice as much.
It is still unclear what the future holds for the Nissan GT-R. Nissan has already shown a concept model of a possible successor to the R35. If and when we can expect the R36, and whether the model is still called the GT-R at all, only the future will tell. Do you want to stay informed about the most important car news?
