The facelifted Dacia Spring is now available in Poland. On Wednesday, April 17, the importer announced that showrooms have already started accepting orders. After modernization, the fully electric city hatchback looks more mature and modern, and it is more affordable.

As part of the facelift, Dacia Spring received a completely new and more powerful fascia with LED daytime running lights and a rear design, which is decorated with the inscription “DACIA” on a black panel. Dacia Spring is finally attractive and at the same time fits into the brand’s new style, introduced by the new generation of Duster.

Much more has changed in the cabin. The updated Dacia Spring has a completely redesigned dashboard, which is more similar to those used in other models. There’s also a 7-inch on-board computer behind the steering wheel and a 10-inch Media Nav Live multimedia system with built-in satellite navigation, digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and wireless smartphone duplication. The climate panel and the car direction lever, which replaced the knob, are also new.

This new version also features many new driving assistance systems, namely an active emergency brake assist system (urban/suburban conditions and detection of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles),

  • road sign recognition and speed warning system,
  • rear parking assist,
  • emergency brake signal,
  • warning about unintentional departure,
  • wayside assistant,
  • driver alertness monitoring system,
  • emergency call system (eCall).

After the changes, Dacia Spring starts with a traction battery with a capacity of 26.8 kWh, which with an energy consumption list of 14.6 kWh / 100 km will allow you to travel up to 183 km on the urban cycle (WLTP). In urban driving, the spring range can increase to 220 km. The battery can be charged in 11 hours through a 22 volt household outlet or in 45 minutes (from 20 to 80%) using a 30 kW charger. The on-board charger will accept a current of up to 7 kW.

The front axle is driven by a 65 HP (48 kW) unit, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 14 seconds. The version with a weak 45 HP engine needs 20 seconds for such a “sprint” that, compared to its predecessor , the refreshed and better equipped variant is only 6 kg heavier.

The Polish price list of the refreshed model opens with the Dacia Spring Electric 45 in the basic equipment version, with prices starting at PLN 76,900. This is how much we will pay for the variant with 45 HP and 125 Nm of torque, whose range in the combined cycle reaches 225 km (according to WLTP). Prices for the Electric 65 variant with 65 HP and 113 Nm of torque start from PLN 86,000 in the Expression equipment version. In this version, the maximum in the combined cycle is 228 km (according to WLTP).

In the more powerful version, Dacia Spring is also available in the 2-seat Cargo configuration (from PLN 92,400), in which the front passenger space and the rear cargo area are intended for transporting goods. In the Cargo version, the trunk is protected by plastic and has four locking rings or a mesh partition for passenger safety. In addition, the trunk capacity in this version increases to 1,000 liters (default 308 liters).
