Once again the largest car brand in the Netherlands, Tesla sales plummeted

That seems to come out new number from BOVAG, RAI Association and RDC. In April, 3052 new Kia vehicles were registered, representing a market share of more than 10 percent.

Volkswagen was in second place with a market share of over 9 percent, closely followed by Peugeot, Toyota and Renault, which each had a market share of around 6.5 percent.

Tesla sales fell again in April. 767 Teslas were registered last month, compared to 3160 in March. Tesla is no longer in the top 10.

‘Delivery problems almost over’

A total of 29,669 new passenger cars were registered last month: an increase of 35 percent compared to April 2022. The growth shows that importers are clearing significant backlogs. According to the RAI Association, many orders were issued. “Distribution problems are coming to an end.” According to the trade association, it is ‘still unclear’ how car sales will grow after the backlog is completed.

Peugeot 208 and Kia Picanto

Although Kia was the largest brand in April, the most registered car model came from another brand: Peugeot 208 with 912 registrations. Kia Picanto is second with 882 registrations, followed by Opel Corsa and Volvo XC40.

The fifth place is for Lynk & Co 01Chinese electric car, which was the most popular plug-in car in our country last month.
