Only 20 cars in Brazil cost less than R$100,000; see the list

In August, we presented an analysis of 20 car options that cost less than R$ 100,000. Now, five months later, another survey shows that, with an increase in almost all products, there is a new car in this price range.

The novel is the Citroën C3, which arrived in September. However, two Volkswagen models that are on the list will soon say goodbye: Gol and Voyage. In fact, only a few dealers have stock of these cars, which ceased production in December. Nissan left the list, as the Versa no longer has versions that cost less than R$ 100,000.

A good surprise is for Toyota. The company has rebranded the Yaris sedan, which cost R$97,290 in August, and now sells for R$96,490. Also, this is an automatic transmission car.

In the fight for the cheapest price in the country there was a change: in August, the most earned zero kilometer was the Fiat Mobi, this month, the Renault Kwid costs less. The low cost Fiat was R$64,690 in August and now starts at R$68,990, an increase of R$4,300. The Renault model was released for BRL 65,790 in August and this month it costs BRL 66,590, up from BRL 800.

Two cars remained without price adjustment during this period: Peugeot 208 and Renault Sandero. The first continues to cost from R$79,990 and the second from R$83,190.
