Omoda and Jaecoo, not just cars: the two Chery brands present Mornine, a humanoid robot. This is what he does

ROME – The Beijing motor show (25 April – 4 May) will be the platform for the launch of Omoda and Jaecoo’s latest creations. At the end of April the two brands, on the circuit of the Chinese giant Chery, will be involved in issues related to ecology and new technologies related to the idea of future mobility that these brands represent. The two products have already entered the European markets and closed 2023 and more than 160,000 vehicles have been shipped to more than 40 countries in the world. During the ecological conference, scheduled for next April 30 at Chery’s headquarters in Wuhu, again in conjunction with the Beijing exhibition, Omoda and Jaecoo will present the latest research results in the field of using artificial intelligence for robotics and humanoids. new. Robot Mornine.

The project from which Mornine was born represents the next stage of research that began with the creation of Atlas, managed by water-powered systems. Mornine is described as an intelligent and service-oriented android and was developed in collaboration with AiMoga (chery’s strategic partner).

The humanoid robot is powered by electricity and closely resembles a human in appearance and behavior. In addition to being built with shapes and materials such as silicone that emphasize his resemblance to a real person, Mornine is able to make gestures closer to human, from the way he walks to the movements of his head, arms and torso.

According to the designers, the technology used to create this advanced robot has several points in common with those that Omoda and Jaecoo develop and use for their cars. Artificial intelligence, interaction between man and machine, autonomous driving, are guidelines that connect robotics and the product of the car in the transfer of knowledge and constant development.
