Permanent mechanics, not unreliable electric

Permanent mechanics, not unreliable electric

The only sensitive part of the “three” is corrosion (of the chassis and body) – unfortunately, it is often already high. Be careful!

We strongly recommend gasoline engines (both are durable and useful). For a smooth ride, 1.6 / 105 KM is enough, and the best option is 2-liter. In front of permanent gasoline engines, the purchase of a turbodiesel makes no sense, except that the 2.2 engine (Mazda) has the usual problems (expensive parts!), and the 1.6 unit (PSA) is also not free from disadvantages, although the 8V version (from 2010) collects very good marks among mechanics and users.

Recommended engines: 1.6, 2.0, 1.6 CD

Advantage

Durable mechanical and electrical, good overall build quality, successful petrol engines.

Minuses

Serious corrosion problems (chassis and body), high price, limited choice of power units.
