Mercedes EQS: new grille and more freedom

We didn’t expect it before the Beijing Motor Show, but the facelifted Mercedes EQS is already showing its nose, its new nose indeed! The German brand’s electric flagship now features a revised false grille and chrome designs reminiscent of Mercedes’ hot engine cars. And at the end of his hat, a small vertical star also returns.

82 km of additional range for a maximum of 822 km!

The main novelty brought by this update is 82 km of additional freedom. Mercedes has actually equipped its EQS with a new battery whose capacity increases from 108.4 to 118 kWh. As a result, the German electric sedan can now claim up to 822 kilometers of autonomy in its permanent 450+ version.

More comfort for rear passengers

As a bonus to the increased endurance, the Mercedes EQS also improves its level of comfort, especially that of the rear passengers. The latter can now benefit from independent and more fixed seats. Even more interested, the person sitting in the right rear seat is entitled to new legroom!

Quality equipment as standard, but at the same price

Mercedes is also taking the opportunity to facelift its electric flagship to improve its standard equipment. Among the latter we will see in particular the presence of the Hyperscreen and the heat pump as soon as it leaves the factory. On the other hand, if the EQS update has already been revealed, it can only be ordered from the Beijing Motor Show that will open its doors on April 25. But the good news is that its prices remain the same as those of the various current versions and therefore will always start from € 111,320.
