Audi Q6 e-Tron

We can count on the fingers of one hand the number of technical architectures that the Volkswagen group will use to power its eight brands. Four of them will share the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform developed by Porsche and Audi. They will also launch it first with the Macan EV and Q6 e-Tron in the coming weeks, two important launches for the German rally.

Dodge is moving forward and bringing its first electric car to the road. The Charger Daytona is the group’s first car to use a standard architecture called STL-A. It specializes in fuel engines… Indeed, Dodge also intends to offer a six-cylinder turbo engine in this car.

Jeep Recon

About the same size as the Grand Cherokee, the Recon will enhance Jeep’s lineup in the coming months. Fully electric, this mid-size utility vehicle will be built, like the Dodge Charger and Jeep Wagoneer S, on the Stellantis group’s STL-A platform. Jeep reveals little information about this car, whose sales should begin at the end of the year, shortly after the release of the Wagoneer S.

Mini Coopers

Electric Mini Cooper

A good year for the Mini brand which is updating all its models in a few months. Among the new features, let’s recall the second generation of electric Cooper. This will now qualify for a system that is only intended to handle an electric motor. This Mini will also be the first model created under the auspices of Spotlight Automotive Limited, a joint venture between BMW and Chinese manufacturer Great Wall.

Volvo EX90

Volvo EX90

Volvo is accelerating its transition to electricity. The Swedish brand will sell the EX90, a luxury SUV that can carry up to seven people on board. This model is based on the evolution of the standard platform of the Chinese Geely group, called SPA2 (Distributable Product Architecture). This includes a 111 kWh battery, provided by Northvolt.
