The Maserati Grecale is making its first work in the UK in the 28th edition of Goodwood Speed Festival† During the famous four-day event, the new Maserati SUV participates in the famous mountain climb in First Glance Run and is pushed to the limit on the 1.16 miles route.
Special guest during the ceremony David Beckham, Ambassador of the International Series of Maserati† Beckham – a sportsman, philanthropist, businessman and fashion designer – arrived in Goodwood at Grecale, in the Trofeo trim. Maserati and Beckham joined in 2021 and are driven by the same passion: commendation for technological innovation and the best design of ‘Italian-made’.
The new Maserati Grecale is ‘every unique day’ SUV, which combines luxury with pure innovation. It is available in three versions: the GT – with a non-combustion hybrid engine, a 300 hp turbo gasoline engine -, like the Modena – a four-cylinder hybrid engine producing 330 hp – and as a Trofeo, which is powered. for a 530 hp V6 gasoline engine with high performance according to the MC20 Nettuno power unit. This version of Trofeo appears on Mount Goodwood.
The MC20, which made its first UK appearance at the Speed Festival last year, will return to the hill climb stage this year. Combined with the latest style in the series, Maserati MC20 spy Cielo. The latter was unveiled last May, weighing only 65 kg over the coupe and has a folding glass of creative glass. The most sophisticated electronic glass roof can be instantly changed from completely transparent to dark with a touch of a button on the center screen, thanks to Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology. The roof also leads in terms of thermal insulation and the opening and closing speeds of only 12 seconds. Both models are based on the F1-powered V6 Nettuno-powered engine, with unique power-to-weight ratios, acceleration and top speed. Coupé, for example, runs from 0-100 km / h for approximately 3 seconds.
In the remaining days of the Festival, MC20 and Grecale Trofeo will see the stage twice a day on Goodwood Mountain. In addition, they can be statistically loved in Supercar Paddock and First Glance Paddock respectively.
