Subaru goes into the air – and sits down at the same time

The Japanese car manufacturer Subaru gives a glimpse of its interpretation of future mobility at the Japan Mobility Expo (until November 5, 2023): When the brand wants to be seen in the air – again – with the Air Mobility Concept, the Mobility Concept of Sports includes that Vision for a complete electronic sports competition. In addition, the Japanese brand of all-wheel drive presents a new and innovative range for the well-known Subaru models.

The striking front end is characterized by thin LED strips in front of the raised hood. Blue hints on the panel air intake, aero rims and side lines indicate the electric car. The coupe-shaped roofline flows into the angular, elegant rear, which, together with the plastic cover, contributes to a solid character.

Despite the low seating position, the driver, who was the focus of the Subaru Sports Mobility Concept’s development, enjoys excellent visibility and control, as Subaru emphasizes. All four wheels can be controlled individually as desired. The result of all the features is a pleasant, quiet and safe ride. As is usual with concept cars, there is no information about specific technical data such as performance and range.

A combination of various assistance systems now supports the driver in more situations.
