Polestar 4 officially arrives in Italy: features and price

The wait is over. Interesting Polestar 4, an SUV coupé with a futuristic and unusual line, has arrived on the Italian market. After launching in late 2023 in China, the electric luxury car with its cool, Scandinavian charm was unveiled for the first time in Space in Milan. The Milanese space is the first castle in which you can carefully admire the power that hides behind this magnetic car. Therefore, the car can be ordered when the first shipment is scheduled for August this year. From the second half of May, the Polestar 4 will also be seen in the Polestar showroom in Rome.

POLESTAR 4: TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Polestar 4 it is a high performance version of the electric SUV with a very strong action presence. Tonnage, of course, is very important:

The car takes platform Sustainable Experience Design (SEA) in Geely, one of the most refined and modern on the market, designed to have impressive road behavior, high comfort and high safety. But that’s not all, because this foundation also stands for its circulation and the use of recycled and sustainable materials for interior design.

Therefore, the Polestar 4 is available in two different versions:

• Long Series Single Motorwith one engine located on the rear axle, with a power of 200 kW (272 HP) and 343 Nm;
• Two Long Term Carscharacterized by two engines installed on both axles of the wheel drive, capable of developing 400 kW (544 HP) of power and 686 Nm.

In both cases there is a 400V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 100 kWhwhich guarantees independence, of 610 kilometers for Single Motor and 580 kilometers for Dual Motor, according to the WLTP cycle. Regarding payment, Polestar 4 Works with any available model and recharges in AC up to 11 kW as standard or up to 22 kW with upgrade. You can also get a full direct power supply from one HPC range up to a maximum power of 200 kW. In this case, 30 minutes is enough from 10 to 80% freedom.

UNUSUAL STYLE FOR POLESTAR 4

Polestar 4 is an SUV that stands out from the crowd with some unique styling features. The front end is low and flanked by light clusters that form an inverted “Y”, while the roof follows an arched shape that ends its run with a tail that features a fearsome spoiler, enhanced by a tapered light strip that runs the length. However, the element that stands above all, and is the most original, is the absence of a rear window. The effect we want to achieve is a shell, designed to increase comfort for the rear passengers. Seeing the road behind the driver, there is a monitor that shows pictures taken by the rear camera in high definition.

The interior is in the name of minimalism an example of the Scandinavian tradition, made very bright by the glass roof that extends to the second row of seats. On the dashboard, where there are no physical nannies, he peers out 15.4 inch touch screen of the infotainment system, which has an Android operating system and many on-board functions can be updated “over the air”. The instrument panel is also fully digital, measuring 10.2″ and integrated with a head-up display that displays key vehicle-related information, road signs and navigation instructions on the windshield.
