Polestar opens snow showroom in Finland

Don’t want to experiment in the snow? Then you can still get a hint of hot chocolate inside

Snowboarders, weathered Yetis and drifting F1 drivers. It already has enough activity around the Arctic Circle. But recently you can also test the latest Polestar models, while enjoying a glass of hot chocolate or mulled wine. Volvo’s electric branch recently built a very special showroom there.

Formerly known as the ‘Polestar Snow Space’, this 12 meter high cube is located in the center of Rovaniemi in Finland. The diagram is not just a statement on global warming. Polestar 2 is parked inside. And although this model of lightning is made mostly of metal, everything around is snow and ice.

A winter paradise for car lovers

There are 130 such ‘Polestar Spaces’ worldwide, of which this is the second in Finland. Inside there are sculptures of car tires, brake discs and colorful lights and visitors can experiment in the snow here. But unfortunately you can’t drive the Polestar home right away, because the Swedish brand works with the ‘digital first’ model. Wow!

The snow cube was built in just twenty days and opened on January 10. The Igloo is inspired by the minority headquarters in Gothenburg, and wants to present the same look in Finland. Want to see it for yourself? You can visit this icy showroom until February 26, after which all the used snow will be returned to the surrounding slopes.
