Stellantis is recalling 284 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles due to side airbag problems.

Company star voluntarily recalls certain sedans Dodge Charger in Chrysler 300 from 2018 to 2021 due to problems with side air bag inflators. The automaker found that some modules could rupture, sending fragments into the vehicle that could harm the occupants.

Moisture introduced during the manufacturing process can cause rust in inflators, causing stress cracks that may rupture during inflation. All five cases occurred in vehicles that overheated 50 degrees Celsius.
