Amplify has teamed up with customer Polestar to launch the Polestar 3 electric SUV at an exclusive one-day event in Sydney on Wednesday 20 September.
Held at Bar M, a beautifully restored and historic former tire factory in Darlinghurst, the event embodied the minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic that is synonymous with Polestar, showcasing the Polestar 3 to media, customers and partners.
Visitors were also able to explore the Polestar Design Competition display, including the KOJA tree house – a comprehensive and sustainable natural habitat design. It was the first presentation from the Competition to be implemented on a 1:1 scale, held at the Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale in Finland last year.
The aim of the event was to showcase the Polestar brand and strengthen its leading design position in Australia, which was further enhanced by the attendance of Polestar’s exterior design manager – and designer of the Polestar 3 – Nahum Escobedo.
Guests had the opportunity to explore the Polestar 3 at leisure, where innovative materials, smart technology and luxury design features can be fully appreciated.
Jonathan Williams, head of marketing, Polestar said: “Building an event that embodies Scandinavian minimalism requires space and raw character, but also production with the highest care. The promotion has been executed with precision, creating the perfect platform to showcase the Polestar 3 and give our guests an insight into Polestar’s transformation into a sustainable luxury brand.”
Tim Baggott, executive creative director at Amplify said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Polestar with the launch of the amazing Polestar 3. To have the opportunity to bring to life the world of a design-led brand, committed to its sustainability. Mission is our definition of luxury.
Sustainability was considered in all aspects of the event’s design, with Amplify also reporting on its impact on the environment.
