In Buchholz, Neu Wulmstorf and Seevetal there have been several car thefts in the past few days. This was reported by police spokesman Jan Krüger today.
Two car thefts occurred in Neu Wulmstorf: On Wednesday, around 2:20 am, strangers stole a white Toyota RAV 4. The car was parked on the side of the road on Theodor-Heuss-Strasse. Its value is estimated to be around 40,000 euros. Between Wednesday 10:15 pm and Thursday 8 am, it hit a gray Toyota Land Cruiser parked in the Schillerstrasse parking lot. Damage here: around 45,000 euros.
The car was stolen between Monday and Thursday in a passenger car park on Ohlendorfer Landstraße in Seevetal/Ramelsloh. There, unknown people had opened and removed a black Hyundai Santa Fe worth around 30,000 euros in an unknown manner.
Car thieves were out and about in Buchholz/Sprötze on Wednesday. Between 4:15 pm and 10:45 pm they stole a black Hyundai Tucson from a parking lot on Am Holzplatz. The value is estimated at around 25,000 euros.
In all cases, the perpetrators successfully opened and started the vehicles without the original keys. The extent to which the crimes are related is currently under investigation.
