Mazda 3 2024: features, price and specifications

Mazda recently announced the arrival in Italy for the 2024 model year of its popular Mazda 3. This new version brings a series of major improvements that make it even better and more technologically advanced.

Technological innovation

The 2024 Mazda 3 comes with a new infotainment system and new safety systems. The old USB Type A ports have been replaced with the more modern USB Type C ports, improving connectivity. Additionally, the layout of the controls has been rearranged to improve ease of use. The steering wheel controls have also been updated with a black shade for easy reading.

Design and measurements

The new Mazda 3 is 446 cm long, 180 cm wide and 144 cm tall. The boot offers a storage capacity of 334 liters, which can be expanded to 1026 liters. Additionally, the car now has a 10.25-inch central display, larger than the previous 8.8 inches, for more visibility. The display is also oriented towards the driver for better ergonomics.

Connectivity and security

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto navigation instructions can now be displayed on the Head Up Display, further improving driver safety and convenience. As an option, Mazda offers wireless versions of CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing easy smartphone connection to the car. The updated Mazda 3 also has a wireless charger for compatible smartphones and an online search function with an improved navigation system.

Aesthetics and fittings

On the aesthetic level, the 2024 Mazda 3 has a new metallic Ceramic color. Two trim levels are available: Prime Line and Exclusive Line, for the four-door sedan and five-door sedan versions. Additionally, the Homura special edition is only available for the five-door sedan.

The 2024 Mazda 3 Prime Line offers 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, advanced driver assistance systems, LED headlights, a rear camera, an infotainment system with a six-speaker sound system and manual climate control. The Exclusive Line trim level introduces 18-inch wheels, an 8-speaker Mazda Harmonic Acoustics sound system, Smart Key, wireless charging for smartphones, heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. This version can be customized with three different optional packages: Design Package, Driver & Sound Package and Comfort Package.

The 2024 Mazda 3 Homura adds a number of sports equipment, 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy rearview mirror, black exterior glass covers and interior upholstery with black fabric and contrasting red stitching.

Engine and price

The 2024 Mazda 3 is available starting at a price of 27,250 euros. The car offers the possibility to choose between three MHEV petrol engines: a 1,998 cm3 4-cylinder engine with 122 HP/90 kW, a 1,998 cm3 4-cylinder engine with 150 HP/110 kW, and a 1,998 cm3 4-cylinder engine and 186 HP/137 kW.
