Milan, the epitome of fashion and design, recently hosted a preview of the new Nissan Juke. This event took place at MiCo, in the heart of the City Life district, and attracted journalists and public attention for its creativity and performance.

Design and Style at the Center

The Nissan Juke, launched online on February 14, has a series of innovations that make it the undisputed protagonist in the B-SUV segment. The new production yellow color, updated interior, modern on-board technologies and the introduction of the new N-Sport version mark the evolution of the model that, since 2010, has shaped and dominated the crossover market.

Nissan and Milan Marathon

The partnership between Nissan and the Milan Marathon further strengthens the relationship between the brand and the city’s major events. Way to break the record

The marathon, with its renovated route that starts and ends in Piazza Duomo, promises to be one of the fastest races in the world. The new route, which passes through the most interesting places in Milan, offers a unique opportunity to discover the city in a new light, with the presence of Nissan cars to guide the athletes in this unique experience.

Completely revised interior with the new N-Sport version

When you get into the Nissan Juke, the first thing you notice is the new central infotainment with a 12.3-inch screen, tilted 8° towards the driver to make it easier to read and use the touch controls. The system is equipped with new and intuitive graphics as well as voice recognition made more effective with a variety of phrases, expressions and commands. In addition to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto is now also WiFi.

The instrument panel is also new, with a high-resolution 12.3-inch TFT digital screen (1920 x 720 pixels available from the N-Connecta trim level, 7 inches on the Acenta trim level) with graphics and content capable personalized. In the central part of the screen, between the speed and rpm indicators, it is possible to view a series of important information, including: navigation and map data, fuel consumption, tire pressure, audio system data. This information is available through the controls on the steering wheel.

Additionally, the infotainment system can play video content from devices connected via USB when the vehicle is stationary.

The new and unprecedented configuration of the N-Sport features stylish features that enhance its dynamic character. On the outside, the trim, side trims, roof, mirrors and pillars are black in contrast to the rest of the bodywork. In the passenger compartment, a yellow finish in the upper part of the instrument panel, at the base of the new infotainment and for communication and air vents.

The N-Sport seats feature a padded base and pillar, yellow Alcantara® inserts on the upper exterior, yellow stitching and a shoulder-length embroidered “Juke” logo on the seat pillar.

New seats also for the N-Connecta, N-Design and Tekna versions, featuring new materials, new fabrics and new processes that improve quality and comfort. With the Tekna version, the seats have an even sportier look thanks to the headrests and the opening in the middle section.

Sustainability and Technology

In the name of sustainability, Nissan confirms its commitment with the introduction of hybrid versions of the Juke. This choice not only responds to the needs of a public that is increasingly aware of the importance of environmental protection but also emphasizes the brand’s desire to be at the forefront of the automotive industry.

Engine

The Nissan Juke comes with two powertrain options: Hybrid and DIG-T.

The JUKE Hybrid powertrain is now available across the range, including the entry-level Acenta. The system consists of a Nissan internal combustion engine, which produces an output of 69 kW (94 HP) and a torque of 148 Nm ) and a torque of 205 Nm The power train is completed by a starter/generator of 15kW (second electric motor), inverter, 1.2 kWh liquid-cooled and gearbox style.

The engine produces 25% more power than the petrol option and, especially in the city, the car travels mostly on electricity (around 80% of the time), with consumption reduced by 40% in the city and 20% in the combined cycle.

The petrol engine solution, offered at the same price as the previous version, is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder DIG-T engine, with a power of 114 HP and 180 Nm of torque (200 Nm and more torque work). , which makes the car snappy and fun to drive. Two gearbox options: 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), with selector for driving modes Eco, Standard and Sport.

13 years of manufacturing in the UK

The Nissan Juke is produced at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, where more than 1.3 million units have been built since its inception in 2010. The car will be built on the plant’s second production line, along with the Qashqai.

Adam Pennick, Vice President, Manufacturing, Nissan Sunderland Plant, said: “It gives our team great pride to see the Juke in action and it’s great to see yellow back on the production lines for the first time in six years.”

The Juke is the fourth model at the Sunderland factory, after the Qashqai, Micra and Primera. Last summer the plant built its 11 millionth vehicle since production began in 1986.

The new Nissan Juke is available in five trim levels – Acenta, N-Connecta, N-Design, N-Sport, Tekna – all with hybrid or petrol powertrains, with the following prices for the petrol versions.
