The crew of Kevin Estre, AndrΓ© Lotterer and Laurent Vanthoor took the unexpected victory, after which they flew to Spain for a private test session of the 963 model.

There were several drivers outside the project who participated in this event, including some guest stars. It was about Sebastian Vettel, who returned to the wheel of a new car compared to those that he used in his previous work. Let’s talk about the past, which can now be closed once and for all, as he could start a new experience in a completely new category for him.

The German four-time world champion had been approached several times in 2023 by the Hertz Jota team in the WEC, but nothing unofficial had been left. After a year, together with all the official drivers of the various teams supported by Porsche in the Hypercar, Vettel tried to discover all the details of the car that was new to him. “Sebastian is talking to several people”, explained Urs KuratleHead of the LMDh program of the German team.

We are always looking for the best solution for the company, for the team, but we already have many drivers in the squad”. Porsche will have until May 19 mention i drivers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2024.
