Ede veteran Jaap van Lagen extends stay in Porsche Supercup: ‘Surprise the youngsters as often as possible’

LANGUAGE At the age of 47, driver Jaap van Lagen is now an old man in the Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup. The experienced driver from Ede will also compete in the Porsche racing cup champions league in 2024. Italian Dinamic Motorsport is preparing the 510 hp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. “The plan is to surprise the young people as often as possible.”

Jaap van Lagen is looking forward to the new season, which starts on May 19 at the Imola circuit in Italy and includes eight races. Including appointments at Circuit Park Zandvoort. His home circuit race on the dunes is on the calendar for August 25.
