MAP. Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari… 240 Tour Auto cars cross the Sarthe

From April 21 to 27, 2024 Auto Tour crosses France: 240 cars historic races are participating.
Leaving Paris, drivers will pass through Tours, Limoges, Carcassonne, before arriving in Biarritz…

This Tuesday, April 23, the story will stop next to Bugatti of Menduring the first step between Paris and Tour.

Where to see cars in Sarthe?

The first machines, coming from Perche, are expected in Sarthe, shortly before 10 am, at Saint-Ulphace, in the north of the department (see carte below).

They will cross the municipalities of Courgenard, La Ferté-Bernard, Bonnettable (section 10 h 15), Savage–Bishop, Exchangebefore arriving The Men (around noon).

Competition and order

At Le Mans, spectators will be able to admire (free of charge) the cars at Bugatti during this first round on the circuit.

During the day, three teams (3, 4 and 5) will participate in the competition. competitionfrom 1:00 to 4:00.

The other two (1 and 2) will participate in the exam procedure until 5 o’clock in the morning.

From Sarthe to the north of Tours

The first cars will leave the Bugatti grounds around 2pm. They will head to Touraine, through Ecomoy, Le Grand-Lucé, Besse-sur-Braye, then he will travel through the Loir-et-Cher, Montoire-sur-le-Loirbefore arriving Celebration–Meslaynorth of Tours (Indre-et-Loire), from 5:15 pm

Tour Auto, founded in 1899 by the Automobile Club de France, was re-established in 1992, in a retrospective format.

Ferrari, Porsche, Alpine, Simca, Gordini, Lancia, Maserati, Aston Martin… All cars that have participated in the Tour de France Automobile between 1951 and 1973 are authorized to compete, with the exception of some features.
