Pfullendorf

Attack on police officers

At 11:45 am on Friday, police officers from the Pfullendorf police station checked an apartment in Schobergasse after a crying child was reported there. The officers learned that there had been an argument between a 34-year-old man and his 33-year-old girlfriend, during which he allegedly hit her. The man was so violent to the officers that they had to call the asylum. As other patrol officers approached, the man attacked the two officers, punching one in the face and biting the other in the calf. However, the man was overpowered and restrained using pepper spray and a baton. However, that did not stop him from threatening and insulting all six police officers who had arrived at the same time. He was later taken to the hospital. The two injured police officers also went to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, but were able to leave the same day. The Pfullendorf police station is now investigating the 34-year-old and is reporting him to the relevant public prosecutor.
